Bravo, Manny Pacquiao, for Having Taste

Well, Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao should be congratulated for being honest: "he loves gay people but he doesn't approve of gay marriage."

The pseudo-furor is just magnified by the usual people. If ever there are gays who love boxing, they are the A-listers (B-lister gays are those who can stomach having sex with other outed gays- ergo, in favor of gay marriage, and you won't find this lot watching Boxing). A-listers would puke just thinking about gay marriage- how could they marry a gay man when they couldn't stomach having sex with him? They can only stomach  straight guys and they  love watching the real men of Boxing.

Manny, my friend Poli says just say you don't approve of gay marriage and that's that. Ignore the canceled interview at The Grove- that's just a small mall compared to the malls in Manila (Manila has 3 of the world's ten largest malls and has 60 other malls larger than The Grove). When Manny goes to LA, he won't bother going to the mall because they are not at par to what he's used to in Manila (part of the decline I was referring to in the novel- travelers would be surprised to discover that shopping facilities, aside from the hype, are more modern in the developing economies of Asia than in the West Coast). You don't need that show "Extra" (I nor my friends don't even know that show existed) but I know who Manny Pacquiao is. You're more famous than anybody in that show, they need you more than you need them.

Of course, we're hearing the corny noises again- the aim now is to intimidate Soviet-style other sports heroes in speaking on their stand (by threatening loss of endorsements, fake contrived comments online, so forth). Frankly, that's just a ridiculous bluff- just noises. They don't have the numbers (don't believe the polls- do you remember even the War on Iraq had a 90% support at one point?). The important thing is Manny Pacquiao has already spoken- the 4th most influential  athlete for 2012 (according to Forbes, not that the Forbes list is important, that is just to make the staff feel important than what they really are). He just told his fans he's against gay marriage and Little Willie will believe him rather than any of the lispy noise.

Lesson: just ignore them, just mere noises. "Political Correctness" and "Tolerance" to these people now mean "Hypocrisy" and "Bigotry" because you don't share their pretensions so stay above them.

Hmm, that reminds me- the backbone of the Democratic Party in California are Latinos and Asians (the Filipinos are the largest Asian group in California) and most of them are Catholics. Don't you think they don't have the same mindset as Manny Pacquiao?

Don't you think some incompetent politicians somewhere just kicked off the main supporting platforms under them just because they didn't have taste?
